About team The privacy and security team of ByteDance is committed to building a configurable and easy-to-use platform to manage all data of ByteDance internal systems to meet global and ever-changing privacy & compliance requirements. We provide easy to use services mainly to: all R&D personnel, legal teams, data protection teams, etc. within ByteDance. Responsibilities 1. Responsible for design and development of the privacy compliance platform, providing compliance solutions to address ByteDance’s unique business needs in compliance; 2. Identify the compliance risks in a globally distributed architecture, combine privacy protection algorithms, security tools, development process and other tools to provide technical solutions; 3. Research the cutting-edge progress of compliance, explore feasible solutions to address compliance pain points, and continuously drive the evolution of architecture.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 1. Responsible for design and development of the privacy compliance platform, providing compliance solutions to address ByteDance’s unique business needs in compliance; 2. Identify the compliance risks in a globally distributed architecture, combine privacy protection algorithms, security tools, development process and other tools to provide technical solutions; 3. Research the cutting-edge progress of compliance, explore feasible solutions to address compliance pain points, and continuously drive the evolution of architecture. Preferred Qualifications 1. Privacy compliance, data security and risk control R&D related experience is preferred; 2. Experience in architecture design and development of data platform is preferred.

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $- $.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $ - $annually.

Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
