Responsibilities
About the Team The HR Operations team endeavours to continuously build and deliver a seamless and positive employee experience across the whole employee lifecycle. We are dedicated to leading with care and have empathy in mind. We strive to develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs. We aspire to ensure employees feel heard and that they are given the appropriate resources and support needed to be effective and efficient during their careers. - Support to ensure that all of the employment tax compliance obligations are met, including in-house preparation and submission of returns and working in partnership with external advisors; - Process employment tax payments within relevant statutory deadlines; - Support in coordination with external advisors to ensure timely and accurate employment tax filings; - Support business units with ad hoc employment tax queries by providing practical solutions relating to benefits in kind and other employment tax related risks; - Assist with mapping of employment tax processes and identify areas for improvement; - Perform tax research and propose recommendations based on findings; - Provide internal and external audit support, including data analysis; - Leverage AI automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s) - Fast learner with strong critical thinking skills; - Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex tax laws and regulations; - Ability to research technical queries by analyzing and interpreting tax legislation. Preferred Qualification(s) - Previous employment tax experience, either in-house or within a professional services firm, with employment tax-specific experience and exposure across APAC countries; - Project Management experience; - Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and explain complex tax concepts in a clear and practical way to non-tax stakeholders.
