Responsibilities Formulate and apply statistical and machine learning modelling techniques such as regression analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, cohort analysis, A/B testing evaluation, risk scoring models, and scenario analysis, to identify operational inefficiencies, evaluate policy impact, assess seller and fulfilment risk patterns, and quantify business growth opportunities. Apply mathematical/statistical models to: analyze large-scale operational datasets across regions; identify correlations and drivers of seller performance and customer experience risk; evaluate the impact of policy or process changes; and support leadership decision-making with data-backed recommendations. Prepare reports, and present the results of mathematical modelling and data analysis to management. Utilize SQL, Python, Tableau/Power BI, Excel and/or other software, programs, tools, internal data warehouse and analytics platform to support strategic analytics initiatives influencing governance, fulfilment, aftersales, and global operations strategy. Drive strategic analytics initiatives that influence leadership’s global operations decisions, including seller governance, fulfillment, and/or aftersales experience. Build and maintain core datasets, automated pipelines, and dashboards across regions to drive operational efficiency and scalability. Leverage advanced data analytics to identify business growth opportunities and to pinpoint and mitigate risks in compliance with regulatory requirements. Participate in global reviews, presenting data findings to internal and external stakeholders and influencing policy, product, and operational roadmaps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design frameworks, metrics, and insights that align with global Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). Research and apply knowledge of regulatory and public policy developments, industry best practices and competitor benchmarks to establish internal governance and global standards for data accuracy and consistency. Mentor junior-level team members.

Qualifications

Qualifications Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Science, Analytics (any), Public Policy, Risk Management, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Science, Analytics (any), Public Policy, Risk Management, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Constructing advanced queries using SQL; Analyzing historical data and applying root cause analyses to identify trends and patterns; Designing and maintaining dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key data and insights, track key performance indicators, and provide self-service tools to stakeholders; Designing A/B tests, conducting statistical analysis, and interpreting A/B test results to provide insights for product features; Creating, maintaining, and delivering reports using Excel and developing and validating metrics to evaluate business performance; and Developing and maintaining tables, views, and indexes to extract, clean and load data across multiple databases.
