Responsibilities
Team Introduction The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. We are looking for a highly professional, self-driven, and data-driven Merchant Financing Solution Manager to design, launch, and scale financing products that support the growth of merchants across our platform. You will work at the intersection of product, risk, data, operations, and business teams to deliver tailored credit solutions, such as Cash Advance, Term Loan, and Invoice Financing. Your goal is to enhance merchant liquidity, drive user adoption, and ensure sustainable portfolio performance. Responsibilities: - Own and execute the GTM strategy and local operation for merchant financing products across LATAM(BR&MX), driving penetration, disbursement growth, and successful new product rollout with localized strategies. - Identify high-impact TikTok Shop seller segments and define clear KPIs (e.g., penetration, funnel conversion, UE) to guide data-driven business decisions. - Translate business needs into scalable product solutions, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Risk teams to optimize product mechanics and improve the end-to-end merchant experience. - Lead cross-functional execution with Risk, Data, Legal/Compliance, Finance, and local e-commerce teams to ensure compliant rollout and strong seller acquisition. - Establish robust performance management frameworks, leveraging analytics to identify funnel bottlenecks and continuously optimize ROI and capital efficiency. - Act as the key bridge between global and local teams, ensuring alignment with the overall merchant financing strategy and roadmap.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s) - 3+ years in fintech, lending, payments, or e-commerce, with strong knowledge of merchant financing products - Proven experience in business strategy, product solutioning, or operations, with a track record of driving growth - Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience managing performance metrics and funnels - Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments with strong ownership and execution skills Preferred Qualification(s) - LATAM market experience (Brazil/Mexico preferred); familiarity with fintech regulations is a plus
