This is an individual contributor role within the Employee Relations team, supporting HRBPs and business leaders across the Latin America region. The position focuses on providing strategic and practical guidance on employee relations matters, fostering a positive workplace environment, and ensuring alignment with local labor laws, company policies, and organizational values. Responsibilities - Support Employee Relations initiatives across the Latin America region, partnering closely with HR Business Partners, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders. - Assist in managing employee relations matters, including performance concerns, disciplinary processes, workplace accommodations, leave-related questions, and employee exits, while ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies and local requirements. - Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, local employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification; - Help prepare documentation, communications, and case summaries related to employee relations matters. - Support organizational changes, including role eliminations, restructurings, and workforce planning initiatives, by coordinating processes and maintaining accurate records. - Assist in the development and delivery of training materials and educational resources for employees, managers, and HR partners on employee relations topics and workplace best practices. - Support activities related to collective bargaining agreements, employee representative bodies, works councils, labor inspections, and other employee representation requirements across the LATAM region. - Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including Employment Legal Counsel, to ensure employee relations matters are handled appropriately and in accordance with applicable laws and company standards. - Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and employee experience within the Employee Relations function.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s) - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Strong interest in Employee Relations, employment law, human resources, and workplace culture. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather information, identify key issues, and make sound recommendations. - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism, and demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and navigate ambiguity. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Collaborative mindset with a willingness to partner across teams, functions, and geographies.
