We are the developer platform product team behind the PICO XR product. Our mission is to empower developers worldwide to build next-generation spatial computing applications by providing clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical resources. We work closely with product, R&D, and support teams to ensure a seamless and productive development experience. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. You do not just want to watch the XR industry evolve—you want to actively help developers build it. You are highly empathetic, deeply organized, technically curious, and energized by solving problems for other creators. Responsibilities Hardware Access Demos & Ecosystem Evangelism - Give physical or virtual hardware demos of our flagship headset line (Project Swan) to invited developers. - Clearly communicate the value proposition, open web frameworks, and benefits of the PICO developer ecosystem. - Coordinate pre-release device logistics and hardware distribution tracking across our global office networks. Developer Communications & Social Media Management - Co-write, edit, and publish clear developer announcements, technical blog updates, and ecosystem news. - Manage our active social media channels (X, LinkedIn) to maintain consistent global platform buzz. Discord Community Operations - Moderate, scale, and daily manage our official developer Discord server. - Celebrate developer project showcases and keep community engagement metrics high. Technical Support Triage & Hackathon Activations - Travel to and support developers at live hackathons, build sessions, and community activations. - Read PICO technical documentation, gather developer feedback, and route technical support questions to core engineering teams.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a [Undergraduate/ Master's/ PhD] in computer science or a related AI discipline. - Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Toolchain Familiarity (Plus): Prior exposure to web development (HTML/CSS/React), XR/OpenXR environments, or the Android Kotlin SDK is a major advantage. - Developer First Mindset: Deep passion for helping software developers and a strong motivation to make their platform experience awesome. - Operations Execution: Highly proficient with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets/Notion) and handling logistical workflows with direct attention to detail. - Experience running online communities or managing social accounts is a major plus.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern

The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $25- $40.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
